It’s a great place to stroll, grab a meal, or enjoy some local culture. Take a taxi or a rideshare program from the airport for the 10 minute right to this popular area.
    2. Visit Fort Lauderdale Beach: Spend some time relaxing by the ocean or take a walk along the beachfront promenade. The beach area also has cafes and shops where you can unwind.
    3. Tour the Bonnet House Museum & Gardens: This historic estate provides a glimpse into early 20th-century South Florida life. The gardens are beautiful and offer a peaceful retreat.
    4. Riverwalk Arts & Entertainment District: Explore this area for its cultural attractions, including museums, live performances, and the scenic Riverwalk path.
    5. Take a Water Taxi: Experience Fort Lauderdale’s waterways on a water taxi tour. It’s a unique way to see the city and learn about its history and landmarks.

    7. Post-Cruise Excursion: Check with your cruise line to see available excursions after you cruise. These excursions will typically hold your luggage during the tour and then drop you off at the airport.
    8. Luggage Storage: There is an option to store your luggage at the airport before you decide to explore on your own. At time of this writing the price is approximately $10.00 US per bag. Watch the closing time of the storage area to be sure you are back to retrieve your luggage.
